How to Make a Hagrid Costume:
Hagrid’s main distinguishing features are by far his bushy beard and long hair. You can find a mask and wig to begin bringing your character to life.
Work boots and groundskeeper work clothes will do just fine. Hagrid’s coat is large with several pockets where he’s able to carry a mixture of objects. Remember Hagrid is a large guy, so make sure to stuff your oversized clothing with pillows.
Remember that Hagrid owns a dragon and a boar hound so it only makes sense for you to carry a magical creature with you.
A pink umbrella used as a wand could also be incorporated into this gentle giant’s costume. After being expelled from using his magic, Hagrid’s wand was broken into pieces and the only way he could continue practicing his magic was by hiding his wand pieces inside a pink umbrella.
